Does anyone have any tips to reliving some of the pain?
Tips which don't involve taking loads of medication.

Good Afternoon _sally_
I use the following: TENs machine; magnesium spray; epsom salts in the bath! Also try and keep warm as that I find helps so big socks, dressing gown and fluffy blankets! The other thing is find something that distracts you - for me it's either reading or Netflix or I come on here. Distraction can be a really effective way to deal with pain!
Hope you are okay xxx
Thanks for the tips, it's just a bit difficult to ignore the pain when I'm sat in a classroom most of the day
Must be so hard for you I gave you a list of what I do ' I hope it helps
For me sadly medication only
I don't have much luck with painkillers so have to use other aids. I use heat a lot, hot water bottle if I don't have to move, I have a heat pad too or if I have to be mobile I use heat patches - bit like a big warm plaster. I find them very helpful. I also use compression aids such as a knee support, elbow support and compression gloves and socks but I suppose it depends where your pain is so they may not help.
Self massage, Rub into pain eveino cream , Try to get plenty of sleep ,Sit in a hot tub, Wear flip flops , Gentle yoga ,
I don't have a hot tub.
I tried Yoga because so many people where recommending it and I found I was in more pain because of it.
Why flip flops?
Becuase some there is a small nerve between the toes and when flip flops are worn it compresses that nerve It may not work for you , give it a try eveino cream is really good it sounds like you got stiff muscles Another thing that helps is meidium to tight leg stockings Take plenty of cod liver oil this may help x
I do think sleep is a crucial one-try to go to bed same time every night, NO phones,TV etc in bedroom, get up same time each morning-even on a weekend. Poor sleep has a massive impact on me.
I also like heat packs although being menopausal I have hot flushes so use of heat is limited!
Hard being a young person with this problem, try to do nice things that relax you x
My nana with arthritis just takes paracetamol.
