Hi

Would only be counted for PIP if it had a impacted on your walking for mobility

or impacted on your care needs .

As this is a night time issue when asleep I feel you would not gain any points in any area.

Hi there have they said yet what they are going to do treatment wise think I had it for years and couldn't work out why was so poorly tired 3 years on now but sleep mask is doing its job trick is too get off to sleep quickly now there's a task let me know how you are doing, seems there is a connection between fibro and sleep apnea have read up on nhs websites etc . But here to help you through the process and compare notes did they say how often you stopped breathing through the nite I am checked once a year but the lung function people at the hospital are really nice on appointments and helpful when ordering replacement parts. Xxxx

Very difficult to say as it is according to how it affects you in a daily basis and whether it can be treated.x

The consultant said I stop breathing up to 20 times and hour!! I was actually very shocked to hear this and then had to go back and now have a CPAP machine and have gone for the nostril cap to start with. Feels very odd

I was wondering how you're getting on with the nostril cap. I've only just got used to the mask but I wasn't offered the nostril cap. It might be better. X

It takes some getting used to as I get very anxious with anything over my face. But the lady said it is the best.. my only concern is I sometimes get chest infections and if I have a cold with it... I won't be able to breath through my nose!

Ask them for one to try?

Thanks Jacqui. I think I will. Does it make you breathe through your nose as I tend to breathe through my mouth when I'm thinking about it?? Sorry to be a bit of a pest but it's good to talk with someone in the same boat x

Hi did ... a nose one you breather in and out of your nose and somehow you keep your mouth shut ... but I have a terrible chest at the moment and not sure if that has contributed. Ask away I don't mind at all
