I get that. I think it might be something to do with me grinding my teeth and TMJ and one of the symptoms of that is pain around the ear.x

I get this too, and my GP told me it's caused by TMJ, as rosewine has said. I find gentle heat helps to ease the pain - just be careful not to burn yourself. x

I thought i was going mad as i get scalp pain at the back top and sides of head but have been too scared to say anything. Can i ask what is tmj ?
