Is there life after fibro ?

Its been a long road with fibro. Sometimes I wonder how I will live with this pain as I get older. I have a great MD who specializes in fibro. I get trigger point injections, adjustments 2 to 3 times a month. I have tried so many tratments, diets and oils. I take cymbalta and pain meds but, still in pain. What else is there?

Yes, I have a tens unit which I use. Also a creme called deep blue rub. Sometimes it is just hit and miss.

I've had fibro 23 years ...and yes there is life after fibro. You might need to make some lifestyle changes (pacing; exercise; learning self and pain management techniques for example)

I've been at the point where I was almost housebound ... but by learning to manage my symptoms and understanding how fibro affects me ... I now live my life to the fullest that I can manage. Some days I don't manage to do what I wanted to ...but I just accept that I can't do it and move on. Xxx

Thank you for your message. I just earned my masters while working full time and taking care of my family. My MD thinks I over did it but it was my dream. I dont let fibro stop me but the enjoyment due to pain has me wondering.....

I do excercise, and diet.
