Bad times

Has anyone else had constant sore throats but also it feels like my food pipe itself hurts 😐 it's a horrible feeling I've also had terrible reflux and can't eat.

Pain everywhere and bruising easily and totally washed out πŸ˜• my ear hurts like mad and pops and I'm partially deaf in it.

I also have frightening episodes of fast heart rates and palpitations. It's horrible and I just don't know how much more I can take, I'm trying so hard to be positive but the pain is chipping away at me 😒

This is the only place I can truly say how I feel I'm trying to not say anything to my husband or my kids because I don't want to keep on and drive them madπŸ˜•

Hi there Angelcloud39 it sounds like you have a lot going on at the moment {{hugs}} Anxiety can cause so many problems such as panic, palpitations and of course pain everywhere.

Could I suggest you speak to your doctor about how you are feeling as one thing may be have a knock on effect with other problems. Your GP may be able to offer you something to help you deal with what sounds like attacks of anxiety.

I have the palpations when my stress levels are high and it is scary. So before it makes you feel any worse please have a word with your doctor. If nothing else it may help you to talk about it to some one who hopefully has the medical knowledge of what you are dealing with and will be able to offer you some medication . Please let us know how you get on good luck xx

Thankyou I have been I'm going again x

I get the same thing on and of with my throat, it's a horrible feeling. I had a scan and everything but have never really found out what causes it.

With your heart rate issue, have you ever looked into PoTS? I get episodes to but have learned how to treat it.

Please get things checked out and don't assume that Fibro is the cause of every pain you experience.

All the best

Thankyou for your reply. X yes the throat thing is horrible I had read about pots and I have suspicions that's what it is. I have been to the Dr and they said it's going too fast so like 180 and then it does a shuddering thing it feels so horrible. My blood pressure drops and my heart races it's worse when I lay down and after eating and if I get too hot.

What can I do to help it it frightens me so much.

The Dr did send me in hospital but it's happening more and more and I'm having to sleep sitting up 😐 they are going to do a 24 hour trace but I have to wait for ages for an appointment x

β€’ in reply toAngelcloud39

After eating and if it's hot are typical PoTS symptoms. I'm glad they are going to investigate. Ask for a tilt-table test if you are suspecting PoTS. Hope you get answers soon. It's scary when your heart is doing its own thing

Funny when it happened once I went to the Dr I felt really unwell and he kept tilting the bed back and forth?! Then checking my blood pressure and heart rate

β€’ in reply toAngelcloud39

In the hospital they have a special tilting table. They tie you up so you do not fall off when you faint while they do their research. They first observe you in a flat position and then tilt you to 90 degrees. It's worth getting a proper diagnoses if you can so you can get the proper treatment

It was making me very dizzy when the Dr layed me down he was laying the bed down with my head almost on the floor? Is that similar? Maybe that's what he suspected aswell then. Thankyou for info.

β€’ in reply toAngelcloud39

No it laying flat and standing up at 90 degrees (not upside down) but it makes you dizzy too if you have pots)

I can't see a Dr for a week 😐 but thanks I will definetely be having a word with them about it.

I have fibromyalgia aswell I don't know if it's linked.

β€’ in reply toAngelcloud39

It's not in a hurry. I have Fibro too, not sure if that's linked but it's definitelylinked with hypermobility and eds

I have hypermobility ! How strange. Thankyou for the info.

β€’ in reply toAngelcloud39

Do ask for a referral to a tilt table test, GP's assume its anxiety (seems to be a fashionable diagnosis nowadays) but it's much more likely to be PoTS if you are hypermobile. PoTS episodes might feel Ike anxiety but it's definitely not. It has all to do with your body protesting that your brain doesn't get enough blood supply (that's why your heart starts racing)

Hello Angelcloud39

I can fully empathise with the acid reflux. It really feels like it is burning your throat and mouth.

I was wondering if you have ever had a camera down to see what is happening.

I was diagnosed with a Hiatus Hernia, so something else to add to the long list of symptoms I already have.

Not being a doctor I couldn't really say, but the palpitations could well be caused by anxiety and stress.

Have you ever tried Lane's Quiet Life from Boots or Bach Rescue Remedy?

I take the Quiet Life every day and it has no interaction with the list of meds I am already on.

It is best to check with your Pharmacy if you can take it, if you are on other meds. However, it is all natural ingredients so shouldn't have any effect.

Please come on and vent whenever you like.

We do understand how you feel.

Take care of yourself

Lu xx

Thankyou no I've never had camera down but I've had it the other way for bowel issues.

It's horrible and it's made me not really want to way anymore so I've lost quite alot of weight.

I'm going to make another appointment to talk to the Dr about my issues urghh gonna need awhile 😐.

Thankyou for your advice I will try the quiet life tablets I only take codeine for pain and vitamin d I was on a concoction of meds but I was so zoned out.

Your sore throats are probably being caused by acid reflux. Has your doctor suggested an endoscopy to investigate this further?
