Well I had a week in the Lakes and wow what a wonderful time I had, wandering around the cottage and gardens where Beatrix Potter lived...Hill Top as it is known.
My partners dad paid for it as a little break as a thank you for taking care of his blind dog whilst he is working long shifts.
I did a lot of walking, well for me walking to the bus stop was a LOT of walking......I tried not to give in to the pain too often as I didn't wanna spoil our week away, it will be our last holiday for a long time to come I fear as my OH loses his job at the end of August and I simply cannot seem to get a job atm due to my pain levels hindering me and the fact they see I also have epilepsy is almost immediately a no.
I am genuinely delighted to read that you had such a wonderful time my friend. I want to truly wish both you and your partner all the best of luck, and I sincerely hope that either one of you, or both of you can find gainful employment. Please take care of yourselves.
