Hi everyone, wanted to say a big thank you to all of those who have welcomed me.

Can anyone tell me if I can have the cost of swimming reduced, my GP has said it will help my joints, but I am unable to work so money is a problem. Would be glad of any advise thank you 😊 X

Hi

If your GP is not able to do a referral if you have any council funded pools near you many do a scheme you sign up to and for a little cost provide a card which will enable you to swim at a reduced cost .

My GP was going to refer me to the local leisure centre but I would have had to pay something towards the cost. This ended up being more expensive than going to a pool without the referral. I guess the leisure centre were trying to cash in on the NHS contribution. I couldn't afford to go.

Hi Marion1956

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? As the others have said, it would be best to talk to your GP about a referral? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken :)
