Hi everyone I'm new to this. I've had fibromyalgia for 4 years now, I can cope with the pain which is bearable most of the time, but it's the tiredness I'm having trouble dealing with and I can't remember things and it getting worse. Does anyone feel the same?? I just want to cry, I feel rubbish, I also suffer with depression.

Hello Poppylou,
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. I too struggle with fatigue, so you aren't alone there.
Have you heard of the spoon theory? It's a very useful tool for pacing.
Hi Poppylou Welcome to our wonderful forum, I'm sure you will love it and find it invaluable chatting to others who are going through the same as you, at different stages of their lives with fibromyalgia.
You really have come to the right place my friend and I look forward to chatting with you on the forum.
Please do go check out the mother site fmauk.org where you will find lots of useful information and links on fibro.
It's a good idea to lock your posts to the community so they are not accessible from the internet. If you look to right of screen you will see under "Pinned Posts" a number of blue links & instructions on how to lock it.
Peace, luv n light

Hello Poppylou and a warm welcome to our friendly fibro forum where you can find help, understanding, advice and friendship.
I am sorry to hear you are feeling so unwell, tired and forgetful. Most of us experience the same things so we understand how difficult it is to lead anything like a "normal" life.
Pacing is the key here and the ability to turn a blind eye to the dust on the television and that pile of ironing
Seriously, do google "The Spoon Theory" it is useful way of learning how to plan your day.
It could be your medication which is affecting your memory, but it is likely to be fibro fog, which is quite well known as a symptom of fibro. However, if this is a recent thing, then do please consult your doctor to check it is not something else.
Looking forward to seeing you around the forum.

Iv just been diagnosed within the last month but had the symptoms for around 4 years, I feel very similar to you I dread waking up in the morning as I seem to be getting new symptoms on a daily basis as well as the pain and tiredness Iv started taking panic attacks, feel shaky, unsteady on my feet, dizzy, facial pain and tinnitus. The thought of being like this for the rest of my life makes me feel depressed.
