Tried CBD from holland and Barrett

So I decided to try cbd yesterday and just wanted to share the experience with you. As soon as I left the shop I found a bench to sit down and eagerly undone the bottle. Firstly I had 3 drops under my tongue, kept It there for a miniutes then swallowed. The taste is unpleasant. Within minutes I could feel the effects. As I had been walking around in town for some time at this point my body was really tired and the pain was getting to my stopping point. I've never had anything work sooo quickly. I could feel my pain disappearing, as if it was melting away. I also got another concoction from the same shop

Avena sativa comp Drops a natural aid to peaceful relaxation. They are also amazing.

  • Sounds interesting Rainbowrose, I've just looked on line and its out of stock at H+B. It's something I'm going to reasearch. I guess we're all on the lookout for anything that makes life a little more tolerableπŸ˜€

  • do you think you can take it with tramadol and paracetamol?

  • Hi Sewnsew

I thought I would let you know I got my CBD oils and paste from CBD Brothers on line and that is where Holland and Barrett buy there's from and I receive mine the very next day. They are a very reliable company and the biggest in th uk in supplying people. I hope this is off some help to you. You can also do your own research about this and how it has helped so many people. • I am pleased you have found something that works for you, but I advise caution with using it with other medications, both prescribed and over the counter.

If you are unsure, please consult your pharmacist.

Here is the NHS site of drug interaction.

  • Hi Rainbowrose like you I have done heaps of research and I also take other medications and the CBD oils and paste and it works absolutely fantastic for me. I have also sent you another reply to you post. I truly wish you well and all the luck in the world and mostly pain free.

Ps I brought a lot off skin and hair products as well from Holland and Barrett and I love them not sure if the work as fast as the oil and paste that I take. Like you I take a few drops under my tongue I have increased the dose now because that is what you do then when you reach the correct dose you stay on a maintenance dose. I take the paste about 1 hour before I go to sleep. Keep well my friend. Jan101 πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΈπŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΊ

  • Good luck my friend x

  • Wow that sounds good, worth a try πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒ

  • Hi Mydexter I thought I would let you know I have been taken the oil and paste for a month now and it's absolutely fantastic for me. I always say do your own research and decide for yourself if it's for you or not or speak to your gp or pharmacist if you are not sure yourself. Wishing you well and could you let me know what you decide. I get mine from CBD Brothers and they delivered it the very next day to me. They also supply Holland and Barrett. • Thanks for that Jan, glad it works for you , I'm definitely going to give it a try, my bathroom is like a chemist shop as it is hope I find room for it lol πŸ˜ƒ Hope you are well

  • Hi love yes I am feeling better now night sweats are stopping thank goodness. No pain now just some mussels tightness but that will go. Hope that you have some room for the oil and paste as that is what I take. You can do your own research about it and see what you think for yourself. I can't believe how it has helped me. Take good care of yourself my friend. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΊπŸŒΈxxx

  • May I ask why one takes cbd .

  • Hi avocadopeardrops

People take it for many reasons. I personally take it for my pain to which is now gone. I use to take a obscene amount of painkillers but now I don't have to use painkillers for the pain anymore. You can do lots of research as I did before taking it or go onto CBD Brothers site and see all the reports that people have posted about there own experiences. I hope that I have been helpful. If you need to know anything else and I can be off help please message me. Take care. Jan xxxx

  • Hi Rainbowrose

I am genuinely delighted to read that they both work so well for you my friend. I use the MediPen but I have to be careful using this as it gives me horrendous headaches if I use too much. There are interaction warnings about using CBD with other medication so please take care my friend. I would type into Google all your other drugs and have a look for this?

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

    Ken

  • Hi,I also tried this, bought it online. Apart from the foul taste and slight headache I found it significantly reduced my overall pain.

I can't find any interactions with other analgesia except NSAIDs ,which I'm not meant to take because of hypertension.its not addictive and doesn't give you a 'high'.

I think there is quite a lot of research been done on cod oil at present for all types of illnesses including fibro.be interesting to see developments.

  • Hi Rainbowrose

I have been taken the CBD oils for a month now and it's the best thing I have ever done as it has taken all the pain away. It is unbelievably good and I don't need my pain killers like I use to. I was on a obscene amount and they did not help me. I took the CBD oils and most off my pain was gone the next day. After a few days all the pain was gone. I only have some mussels tightness now but that will go once my mussels get stronger.

I am so happy that you posted this about the CBD oils as I was not sure if I could post information about this. I have spoken to a few people and they are going to try the CBD oils. I can't wait to hear back from them.

I am so happy for you and that it is working for you. I buy mine from CBD Brothers as that is where Holland and Barrett gets there's from and I got mine delivered the very next day. There service is excellent. Please if you don't mind could you please let me know how you get on with the oils. Take good care of yourself. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΊπŸŒΈxxx

  • Which one of the cbd oils do you buy. Looked on CBD brothers website and there are 2 strengths? I am going to try it

  • Hi Patdoyle

I thought I would let you know I take the blue top oil and the red top paste in a syringe from CBD Brothers and it works fantastic for me. I always say to people to do your own research and see what you think and you can also speak to your pharmacist or GP. Take good care of yourself and good luck. Jan101 πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΊπŸŒΈxxx

  • Jan101 Is ttthis cbd oil and paste expensive?

  • Hi avocadopeardrop

I don't think so because I have one bottle and one syringe and only used a quarter of it and I think I paid around Β£30 for the paste and around Β£35 for the oil. I have had it now for one month. I got mine from CBD Brothers on line but you can get it from Holland and Barrett and I know they get it also from CBD Brothers so they might be a little more. I suppose it depends on how much you buy at the time. I hope that is helpful. If you need to know anything else please just message me. Take care. Jan xxxx

  • The Blue top oil and red top paste in a syringe. Hope this is helpful. Also it is good to do your own research and you can speak to your pharmacist or GP. Take care Jan101 πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΈπŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΊ

  • Morning, is CBD short for Cannabidiol? Could someone please paste the link to the CBD Brothers site? Has this helped people with fibro? Has anyone been diagnosed with serotonin syndrome after being prescribed amitriptyline & duloxetine?? Thank you x

  • Hi Youngandsuffering

I am sorry I can't comment on your other issues. If you google CBD Brothers there site will come right up and you can have a look for yourself. Take care Jan101 xxxx

  • Hi Rainbowrose

I am feeling the same very tired in the afternoon do you think it could be the CBD oils? I don't seem to want to do much at all. I feel that I only want to sit around. I am thinking that I might just take my CBD paste before I go to bed and see if I can get my Energy back during the day. I hope that your pain is still diminishing. Take good care of yourself. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΊπŸŒΈxxx

  • Zzzzz I've totally over done it today. Avoiding the growing mound of ironing which has accumulated over the past few weeks. I think you could be right about the oils. But your not mixing them with meds, that's what I thought my tiredness was a result of. Xxx

  • Hi Rainbowrose

Don't worry about the ironing it's really not that important. I am very lucky I have someone into do it for me once a week and a little housework it's my only day I can forget about the house. Get yourself sorted first.

I done some research last night about the oils and I forgot that it said in the beginning you will feel tired. also on my request last night it said that this should last for 5 weeks then it will go as your body will have gotten use to the oils.

So I should be over the symptoms very soon.

I do take other medication but the oil is ok with what I take now as I don't need as much medication as I did before taking the oils.

So hopefully your tiredness will go at the end off the period that they state. They also said that if you feel tired don't fight it just go to sleep as that will let the oils work on you.

Have a lovely weekend my friend and take good care of yourself. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΊπŸŒΈxxx
