Hi Bowersfreddir7
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I have pasted for you below a link to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:
I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are suffering with this issue, and there is a condition called Hyperhidrosis that many Fibro sufferers appear to endure. I have pasted you a link to the NHS Choices cache on this issue:

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, as Ken says quite a few of us have these sweats, well as a lady I say I glow. It isn't so bad in the summer as probably other people are sweating but in the winter it's horrible. I find I am worse in the big shopping centres I swear their air conditioning makes it worse.x
Hello Bowersfreddir7 and a warm welcome to our friendly fibro forum where you can find help, advice, support and understanding. Our mother site fmauk.org has a wealth of information including guides and links.
Have you been diagnosed with fibro or are you still waiting on test results.?
Excessive sweating can be a symptom but I have not read of it being a problem to the extent that you are suffering. Perhaps, as Ken has suggested you may have Hyperhidrosis, which can be a different condition altogether.
If you research Hyperhidrosis you will see that certain sites on your body can be injected to prevent or lessen excessive sweating. It could be worth suggesting this as a possible cause and treatment of your symptoms.
I do hope you find relief very soon, it must be exhausting to suffer in the way you do.
Looking forward to seeing you around the forum.
Kay
There are also sprays-anti persperents that you can get from your drug-store/pharmacy that are specifically for hyperhydrosis. There are also some that can be specifically prescribed by your doctor.
I hope this helps you.

I have the head and face sweats, i used to be so embarrassed. I have just been give a tablet off doctor and ive just come back from turkey and no sweats. I will forward the name of it in abit as iam out x
Hi paula167
I too suffer from head and neck sweats. They are the bane of my life. I would be really interested in the tablet your doctor gave you as I'm desperate to find something that helps. I don't want to miss your post so if you would reply to me I would be really grateful x
Hi. Iam on my way home now. Wen i get in ill deffo send the name of the tablet xx
I have suffered with sweats for years and have always found it so embarrassing and it's nothing to the extent you are suffering so I can really commiserate with you. I am allergic to lots of deodorants can only use one at the moment without it making me itch. I know there are Botox injections can be given under the arms to help but that doesn't really help the rest of your body.
I hope you find some help soon you shouldn't have to be like this and it is obviously having a big impact on you going out.
Take care
Jackie
Hi Bowersfreddir7
- I have much the same issue - Mine is a combination of meds and conditions. My DH and I have been painting the deck this morning and I am literally drenched from head to foot. It's annoying and embarrassing, but I have mostly learned to live with it. Not that it helps you any, but misery loves company, huh? Welcome to the forum
Welcome to the forum. I too sweat as you describe, I have even been asked if I am just out of the shower? I sympathise with all regarding this continuous condition & physical discomfort that it causes. I am sorry I have no solutions & try to accept it as part of my illnesses & medications. Dear Bowersfreddir7 if you find any solutions you will be soo popular!! Very Best Wishes Pixiewixie
Hi sorry to hear your not being listened to. I had to fight for tests on my spine and honestly felt alone and left wondering whether it was me exaggerating symptoms . Don't give up take a deep breath and research your symptoms then when you find something maybe hyperhidrosis then ask to be seen by a specialist be honest about how low you feel. I was reduced to tears and was so low it was awful. Keep positive xx
