Hi

I've suffered from fibro for about 13years but for the last year I've been experiencing different symptoms such as feeling I've been kicked on the bum plus sensitive feeling across my back, now I'm getting thumping in my left ear , anyone else experience the same?

Good evening Des58 Let me wish you a very warm welcome to our group. I see this is your first post. You may like to take a look at our mother site it as a wealth of information.

fmauk.org I know a lot of fibro people tend to suffer with a l back and bum pain and I am no exception. But not too sure about the thumping in the ear. If all these symptoms are new to you may I suggest it may be a good idea to get them check out with your doctor. Not everything we feel is because of fibro. So if it is new it really should be checked out xx

Hi Des58

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I am so genuinely sorry to read of these new symptoms for you and as Dizzytwo says it is best to get them checked out just to have other medical conditions ruled out of the equation.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck at your doctors tomorrow, and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Hi Des58. Strange that I have exactly the same problem in exactly the same ear! Also my back is very sensitive but then again I have no real feeling on the left side of my body from the neck down - I had a benign tumour wrapped around my sciatic nerve on the left-hand side. Unfortunately when they were removing it the surgeon cut my nerve and I now have major problems with the left side of my body and my bladder. Ah well it had to come out I suppose! As for the ear thing I asked my doctor about it and at first she thought I had an ear infection (!?!) but it's still here so that was a load of rubbish. I was thinking about going to Specsavers or one of the others and having a hearing test - don't know what you think about that?? x

Hi, yes I've had the ear thing and sudden pain and ringing in my ears, I've also had a stabbing pain in my head which really hurts, it doesn't last very long but very sore when it happens.
