Hi Rio--Rio
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I have pasted for you below a link to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:
I am so genuinely sorry to read of how you are suffering and struggling, and the symptoms that you have described could be one of many medical conditions. One that springs to mind is a condition called Lupus. I have pasted you a link to the NHS Choices cache on this below:

I really think that your best course of action would be to see your doctor and explain how you are feeling. They usually send you for a full blood screening to remove other medical conditions from the equation. I would also ask for a referral to Rheumatology as they diagnose most cases of Fibro.
In the mean time you could discuss with them what pain and fatigue medications they feel are suitable for you. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken

It sounds as if it's a condition called fibromyalgia,I would read what Ken has posted then go see your doctor .I was tested for Lupus but eventually and it took quite a long while over 40 years for the diagnosis of fibro .I really hope you get your answer .As Ken said there are many things it could be and we are not medics ,although we know more about our illness than the drs .
Sending you a gentle hug and a deep hope you get your answers .Please let us know how you get on at your drs .x💐
Hi hun, can we assume you have told your g.p about this? Have you had a chest xray? Its a gentle warning to many that a flu vaccine is worth it to avoid after effects if we catch it! Are you coughing at all? Come back and let me know as my younger sister has these problems but its not fibromyalgia!
Hello Rio--Rio and a warm welcome to our friendly fibro forun, where you can get help and understanding, information and support.
A flu like pain all over could be one of many conditions. Have you been tested to eliminate them? Usually negative blood tests, clear xrays and scans tend to point to the diagnosis of fibro, and the flare up you have after vigorous exercise certainly seems similar.
However, we are not medically qualified so cannot give you a diagnosis. I suggest you see your doctor who may be able to help you.

Hey Rio-Rio
I had the flu a few years ago and after I recovered I was completely allergic to gluten. I am still on a gluten free diet today

OMG! That is exactly how I describe my body aches. Like I have the flu. Nothing really helps or I haven't a remedy. I take Be nedryl and Advil. I can tell when the weather is coming for the aches get worse. I rock back and forth, and cannot keep steady work. I don't understand why there's not a medication or anything to help. Lyrica helps. I need to get back on it but there's side effects.
