Hello Vicky, late logging on today (had to deal with utilities over estimated bills-nightmare!)I too have OA knees and shoulders, I do have injections now and then, but I have found frequent visits to hydro and to local swimming pool for a dip in the Jacuzzi very helpful for unstiffening! Followed by rubbing in voltarol gel (some use ibuprofen gel) whilst the pours are open and the gel gets into the skin better.. All trial and error to get comfort from these things, Ive been using a TENS machine just above knees I was told by physio to "pump up the muscles" and they will take th strain from the joints,, I,m hoping my muscles look like Rafael Nadals by next year!!! (I wish)
