Hi had medical cancelled on 16 march doctor had to go to an emergancy had to give up work end of Nov 16 gor cerebral palsy in left arm and left side now with right hand having to do job of two hands all my life got athrius /repetative strain injury in right hand got a splint on does anyone think i will get into support group this is the group i need to be in Cab helping me Debbie

Have you seen our mother site fmauk.org ? Here you will find a wealth of information including guides and links, one of which is to our Benefits Advisor Janet.

You haven't said if you have fibro or how long you have been diagnosed but it is a condition recognised by the DWP.

Nobody can say with certainty if you will get your ESA, indeed very often members fail the first step and go on to a result with a Mandatory Reconsideration. Others will get it through a Tribunal and sadly some deserving cases are refused altogether.

I say this not to worry you but to prepare you for what may be a lengthy process.
