Hi i believe i have suffered with fibromyalgia for years and for the last four weeks have been suffering with extreme tiredness and dizziness. Although i say dizziness it is more balance issues i.e uneven pavements or flooring makes me feel dizzy and wide open spaces do the same. Also feelings that i am still moving i.e the car stops but i have to wait a second to adjust. This is a reacuring condition which i have suffered for some years. My thoughts now are could these symptoms be related to the fibromyalgia.

Hi there- maybe make appt. with g.p to see if you have vertigo? this causes the symptoms you describe also.. and driving???? be very vigilant and choosey when you do until you know what this is..
Occasionally it is the fibro but always best to get checked i have same sometimes but when i got checked it was diabetes so best to get checkedxx
definitely sounds like the definition of vertigo to me. i swear i have it. doctors just think i'm being a hydrchondriac or whatever you call it lol
HI fibropain22 , I don't know if they are related but I have them as well.I do know some of my meds say may cause this so I've assumed that to be the reason.Hope you can get it sorted. Good luck Peck 🐤
,
For years, my son suffered symptoms like yours.
Last year, his Docter performed some funny named manoeuvre on his head, and she said, that there is a little bone in his ear, which was getting stuck and causing his balance and dizziness problem. xx
I'm guessing you're referring to the epley manoeuvre. xx
Hi fibropain22
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I am so genuinely sorry to read this, and as the others have said it could be Fibro but it could also be something akin to Vertigo? I would personally get it checked out just to have other medical conditions ruled out of the equation. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
yes a lot of balance dizziness is caused by inner ear problems .
Ok thanks everyone for your replies. Yes i have been doctors and had blood tests and various other tests and conclusion is inner ear but i just wondered if perhaps it was another thing other fibromyalgia sufferers experienced. Looking at the replies it doesn't seem to be the case. Once again thanks for all your useful comments.
