It depends on how bust they are

And if you will be put in Support Group who knows only DWP

Expect to wait anything between 14/28 days.

You won't know what group you will be put in till you get your results.

I got mine within a week which was very fast, never expected so fast.

Up to 6 weeks we were told but we heard after 3 weeks.The DWP decide what group you are placed in or you might not qualify for it at all.

ESA comes into 2 groups WRAG and Support.

WRAG = Work Related Activity Group

This is if they deem you fit enough for work that would not interfere with your conditions? You will need to attend groups/meetings to look for a suitable job.

Support

If they deem you unfit for any long or short term work due to your conditions.

You do not need to attend groups/meetings to look for a suitable job.

Both these can be reviewed at a time the DWP decide
