My husband suffers from fibromyalgia and because of his inability to turn in bed found sleeping almost impossible. We bought something called a "snoozle" recommended by a family member (can be found on the Internet) and sleeping pattern has been restored. Hope this helps someone.

Inability to turn over in bed
Hi , that's interesting I hope it helps, let us know how you get on with it, my partner used to have to wake up to help me move or get up to the toilet i have a bed rail now and most of the time I can manage with that but my pain is more controlled than in the early days.
Good luck

Thanks for sharing. I too have the problem of turning over in bed and sometimes have to get up as my legs or arms have gone numb. Do you know if there is plastic in this as I get very hot in bed and plastic brings hives out. x
Hi barbara-ann welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.
I'm sorry your husband has Fibromyalgia and I'm so glad that his sleeping is better because of the snoozle. I've just been to check it out & yes it could be useful. I suffer with chronic back ache & pains in hip, so I'm the same, it can be a real struggle for me to turn over in bed, so i may very well invest in one & give it a go. Thanx for sharing ☺
Peace, Lu n light

I had a Snoozle as a Christmas present. It has helped me to turn over in bed with much more ease. I don't think it's got any plastic material in it. It is a very silky / shiny satin material and therefore it doesn't feel like plastic at all.
Hello,
Hope your husband copes with his snooze, I was the same and purchased one and it does help although I do find some times I get more heat from it. Great idea tho.
Take care
Just looked on the web and sounds good to me....thank you for posting that info.
Hi barbara-ann
Thank you for posting this great suggestion. I will try anything for a good night's sleep!

We use these to transfer patients from trolleys to beds and chairs in the hospital. You can get them in all shapes and sizes. Didn't realise they had made it to the general market place. They are really helpful.
Interested in this as I am an occupational therapist. Various similar products on the market but this looks like a low cost alternative. Is it comfortable? It looks like it might be a bit sweaty!
My husband finds it comfortable and really helps him to move, generally having no trouble at all. He sleeps in a single bed and his only request would be that it were a little bigger. Do hope this information helps.
Hi barbara-ann
