fibromyalgia
DWP is a nightmare, I was diagnosed just over 10 years ago and I get high level mobility, don't think PIP will affect me. Good luck I hope you get it sorted. Fibromyalgia is so debilitating, like you I have it all over my body
Go to citezens advice, they can fill forms in for you which is fab, as they know exactly the things PIP are looking for when assesing your claim. Fingers crossed your change over goes smoothly x
Hi Laney welcome to the forum. Pip seems to be more difficult to get unfortunately so as others say get all the help you can. CAB are fabulous if you can't get help from there the Benefit and Works site is certainly worth the subscription money as they have in depth guides which we found very helpful for ESA.
Many here have first hand experience of applying for Pip so if you have any specific questions when the time comes ask away.x
Hi laneyh11
Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I genuinely hope that you find the forum useful, informative and loads of fun! I have pasted you a link below to our mother site, Fibromyalgia Action UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information: fmauk.org/
As the others have said, the CAB is wonderful for its help with benefits. Also, our parent site has a benefit helpline that you may find useful. I have pasted you a link for below:

I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck with your claim for PIP.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
hi, I try to go swimming and like you it just heightens my pain but I do try to continue as i think it is strengthening my muscles, I am 52 and after 3 attempts over the last 9 years I finally was awarded PIP this year. The forms are long and some questions are very silly but what I was advised to do by everyone was to get a friend or someone to fill out the form with you and you must, must put down the answers as if it is one of your worst flair up days because they are the most important days. good luck and try to continue with the swimming, i maybe get there 2 times a month but I think at least i am trying and mentally I feel better after a swim.
that is great, we have to try and keep moving as much as it allows us too. good luck x
Hi I find all excersise painful and not just on the day it's usually weeks X. Welcome to the site they are just lovely on here .
