Hi there
As you are unable to work you need to apply to be placed in the ESA Support Group.
I had to fill up a new form to apply to be placed into the Support Group but Janet will be able to let you know what you need to do.
If you get in touch with Janet our Benefits Adviser she will be able to let you know.
I will pop back and give you a link to all of her contact details **
Do you have a professional person helping you with your Mandatory Reconsideration such as a Disability Advocate?
If not, it would be a good idea to get some help. A Disability Advocate will be able to accompany you to any Appeals, etc that you may have to attend.
You can find a Disability Advocate by Googling for one nearest to your town.
Wishing you much peace

** As promised here are Janet's contact details as promised:
Hi Marigold- are you still providing sick notes? if your g.p says unfit to work then nobody has the right to argue with that. Put in an appeal and get your g.p to write up a letter stating your surgery, the time away from working needed and any waiting for further intervention stated aswell. It might cost your a fiver but it will be worth it..
thanx im waiting upon a decision for mandatory reconsideration if the decision is still a no then i will be putting in for the appeal as my gp says that working is a no no and im still seeing my surgeon i will keep you updated thanx again👍
Is your Mandatory Reconsideration for ESA or PIP?

it is for esa im upset because i wasnt even put in a support group!
I do understand. It was the same for me. I was called into the Jobcentre within 5 weeks of my Tribunal which I won. I was put in the WRAG group.
The lady at the Jobcentre was really cross as she said it was more than clear that I was ubable to work.

Hi marigold191 and welcome to our wonderful forum ☺I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you & talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro & learning from their experiences.
It does help with the whole process & i wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs & I'm still learning about it, like we all are. i see you already have some good advice which I can't really add to, just wanted to say Hi.
Peace, luv n light

Hi marigold191
I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck with your mandatory reconsideration. If you keep submitting your sick notes at least it can be argued that you are unfit for work. Please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
