Has or is anyone on Sertraline for depression due to this ghastly pain getting us down?

Hello......Do I gather that you are worried about the Sertraline itself or that you don't feel the need for an anti depressant? I think you will find a good number of us with fibro are on different anti d's....they can help you sleep a little better, and most have a mild pain reliever and of course help you feel better.

Yes I have been on sertraline but had to come off that due to it not agreeing with me.....but everyone is different! Let us know how you get on......

It is not a drug that I have used myself. If you are experiencing bad side effects I would let your doctor know as soon as you can? There are plenty of other antidepressants on the market. Please take care of yourself.

Heya, yes, i'm on sertraline for mental health and i find it's fine with me but i will advise if you are to take it to try and eat something with it otherwise it might make you feel a bit sick/headachey for the first few weeks. did the trick for me. hope that helps

Hi I take sertraline and have done for a few years and have no side effects with it and also take amitriptyline for fibre again without side effects. It works differently on people and I suppose no two people are the same on it, so good luck with it x

Oh amitriptylene . my doc wasn't gonna give me Sertraline if I continue taking amitrip
