I only starting to take Lyrica 5 days ago and the constipation is terrible! I just don't want to be taking them if I'm going to suffer like this. I have got an appointment for medicinal cannabis, I don't think the side effects will be this bad. I'm hoping not., seeing canabis is a natural laxative too!

I've just been prescribed nabilone - cannabis capsules. Not started them yet.

I'm back on them and feel awful. Im really snappy and and to eat all the time. I had lost a lot of the weight and now I can feel it again. I really hope that you get sorted and let us know how you get on with the other tablets.

If Lyrica is helping you could you be prescribed something like Movicol to help the constipation as that is what I do. My pain was so bad before going on Lyrica and it certainly takes the edge of the shooting and burning ones that were exhausting me so the GP prescribed a laxative rather than take me off the drug. I also take Zapain which is another one notorious for constipation. What I am trying to say it is sometimes the combination of medicines that can cause this. Hooe you find some relief and that you get prescribed the cannabis to try.x

I really am so genuinely sorry to read this and I really would let your doctor know about this side effect as there are plenty of things they could offer you to help. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
