can anyone please tell me the many symptoms of fibro as i think i have it
symptoms please: can anyone please tell... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
symptoms please
The best thing to do is see your go if you think you may have fibro, personally with me I experience deep muscle pain with burning sensations in various places, especially feet and elbows,IBS with bloating stomach and gas, dry, hot feeling eyes, always having to urinate, neck and lower back pain, restless legs, muscles spasms, shooting, stabbing pains down legs n in elbows, acid reflux, very painful calves, stiffness, can't stay in any one position for very long or I seize up,n it hurts wen I move, rarely get full sleep, often interrupted due to pain and/or having to urinate, low mood, difficulty concentration, flu like symptoms, hot one minutes, cold next, sometimes it feels like I am having pins slowly pushed under toe nails. You must understand that these are the symptoms I experience, fibro differs from individual to individual, and there's no single test to diagnose and it can be similar to other pain conditions, you really need to see your go if you think you have it as some of the symptoms can be treated either medically,by diet or exercise or a mix of all.Hope this has helped and if you think you may have fibro please see your go as soon as.God bless and try not to worry,as worry and anxiety can make it worse,if you have it.Jay.
Yea you got that right to the nose THATS FIBROOOOOO 😁
Hi gabby1066
Hello and welcome to our friendly fibro forum where you can get advice, support and help.
Have you seen our Mother Site fmauk.org ? Here you will find information all about fibro including symptoms and treatments.
As you will discover, fibro comes in many forms and not everybody has the same symptoms. It tends to be diagnosed when all the other conditions which it mimics are ruled out through blood tests, x rays etc. There is no set definition or diagnosis, although sometimes a pressure point test is a good indicator.
The first step would be to see your GP and then to ask for a referral to a rheumatologist. The GP may diagnose you without seeing a rheumatologist but it is often better to get a second opinion.
I wish you well,
Kay

Hi and Welcome.....Lots of good advice there but I just wanted to say you have joined a smashing group for support and giggles (well sometimes!) and lots of good links on the right hand side of our screen....x
For me it was hard to tell. I have a plate in my c spine and osteo throughout spine. I have wing pain. Lower back pain. Below the neck pain knee pain and my hands and feet go numb. It took many doctors. All pointing to a rheumatologist to get the proper diagnosis. I'm a nurse and that was not even on my radar. There is a point system they use. You have to have 11/18. I have 18/18 of the points. Go to rheumatologist
Oh yeah migraines and TMJ I have too. I was thinking more RA but nope. Also have had bowel issues since 2012 and urinating infrequently since about the same time.
