Hi Shiva111

Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are experiencing this horrid issue, and sometimes medications can cause this problem. Drugs such as Pregabalin / Lyrica, Gabapentin and Amitriptyline can cause a rash.

I have also pasted you a link below to the NHS Choices cache on something called Urticaria that can occur when our histamine levels are too high:

There could be so many reasons why this is happening to you from Eczema to lichen planus. I would discuss the rash with your doctor to try and ascertain the cause of it? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck an please take care of yourself.

I would also say that if it gets any worse or persists then please see your doctor as soon as you can.

I have also pasted you a link below to our mother site. FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:

All my hopes and dreams for you

Thank you so much for your reply I will look into that. I have been battling the rash for seven months now I have taken four different rounds of antibiotics and seen several doctors. They can't figure it out. It occurred before I started taking Lyrica.

Hi there

You should always get a rash checked out. I would definitely recommend that you go and see your GP.
