Hi cloudgirl, I don't sleep well when my mind is on go!!!🏃just left snappy1 she up having walnut cake and tea🍮☕😀.yummy . I hope your ready to nod off 😴 chris
I never sleep right through. I was awake when you posted, but try to keep off computers, phones etc as the "blue" light they project has been proven to keep your mind active.
Try writing down your thoughts before you go to bed on a pad.
This next one is really hard. Unless you have to be up for work the next day, don't automatically look at the clock when you wake up.
Resist all temptation to look at the time. It just increases the stress of not being able to sleep.
If you are wide awake, get up for a short while, then go back to bed.
I have recently stopped looking at my clock when I wake in the night - which is a lot.
Now instead of looking at the time I turn over plump my pillows back again and try to go back to sleep.
It has helped me a lot. It's worth giving it a try.
