Here we are 4 am and still awake, I had already fallen asleep at 11 pm then woke again at 1 am,

One more try, If not asleep by 5 am I'll take Lucy out for a wonder round the block and hope we don't bump in to anyone,

How come the dog walkers always find the body??πŸ˜†

Good morning Debs, yes, very similar. Fall asleep then awake after 2 hours. I heard in my area about a dog walker finding a body too!It is soooo tough to sleep. I tend to roll over and grab my phone and vape. Must try to leave them.

I'm having pillow issues at the moment. Need a variety to find the best one to hug and melt into.

As i melt into it, i slow my breathing and sink into the bedding. Every time the mind goes elsewhere... Stop. Think of the melting and slow the breathing again.

As a last resort i dream the word "sleep" jumping over a fence!

Best of luck and kind regards to yourself and lucy. /hug.

Broken sleep is unhelpful and getting some air with your dog sounds a good idea did you do the early morning walk? I am settled well at the moment I think being with my little grandboys this week and helping my daughter has got me proper pooped , il have too send them your way πŸ˜‰mind you I did wake up early hours for the bathroom , My husband said have we got a mouse 🀣as there were biscuit crumbs leading too my bedroom (bungalow) I had gone too the cupboard and walked back in the dark leaving a trail 🀣x

Holy crap Yassytina,

We have a rodent or two somewhere in the kitchen, John brought me up some items having chewed and eaten scones, bread and through the ready brek, Greedy bugger even had a block of sticky rice!! Hubby went up the road and got some mouse traps and I sent him right back,

I know it's not great for mice or rats to be in the house unless they can help with the house workπŸπŸ€πŸπŸ€

I refuse any thing that will poison or kill by snapping them, WE HAVE A CAT!🐱🐱

so we have got a cage thing the 4th night, last night still nothing πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

I'm running a food bank,(lol)

So I have promised Hubby I will help empty the food cupboard and bleach, Anything in a packet will have to go in the other cupboards, Or might need binning, Oh boy,

You send the little ones in return i will send the squeeks (sorry spelling)πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯Ί

I actually have 7 grandchildren so I've been told. My children listened too many lies from their Dad and don't want me to see them or have any contact 😭 I hope your crumbs were not being used for Hansel and gretle πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰ This house is victorian and probably has an escape tunnel in every corner,

Hope you can have a good rest soon x

Hi Debsdelight72Sorry to hear sleep won't come.

The cycle of pain /poor sleep keeps us trapped.

When you are awake in the middle of the night imagine the canopy of the stars in a beautiful sky like a blue globe and know there are others under the stars who can't sleep too. We are not alone.

Hug that puppy

Take care

Gigi

Thank you Gigiruth,

I do actually imagine I'm in a favourite place of mine,

Sat on a sandy beach listening to the gentle waves and watching the Sunset, sorounded by mountains and views to die for,

The west coast of Scotland, We actually have been and now I think on it, We are well past another visit, I didn't use the power chair then so would have to research,

I think I slept really well when we were there😴😴Oh the memories

Hi Debsdelight. I don't know if I should post as a reply here or make a new post. I will just say that remarkably, I've been having quite a bit of success following up something I read about taking quercetin at night and am also using a Bach remedy called 'Rescue Night Spray.' - My cat wakes me up but when I've seen to her (and my other needs) I take two squirts under the tongue of this delicious tasting flower essence that also contains white chestnut essence - reputed to switch off the mind, and find myself waking up later having miraculously slept quite a bit more of the night. (The spray has a truly wonderful taste!)

Both remedies seem to have improved my sleep time enough to be able to grind up into a new day more easily at a more appropriate and regular time later. It may be just psychological but it works for me! - Enjoy your dog walking and hope someone else finds the body! (Made me smile as I've been watching some entertaining back episodes of Shakespeare and Hathaway on BBC 1! - More humour than violence!) Could check with doc or online about taking the quercetin appropriate to medication or not. Sleep on!

Thank you KimiJay,

On occasion I have dozzed off, Had 2-6 hrs WOOHOO, Then just as I am congratulating myself in comes the Fibro to let me know, Yes I've had the 2-6 hrs sleep but now I'm grumpy pants because the sleep is not refreshing even though I take an awfully large amount of drugs (prescription)πŸ€”πŸ€”I have been tempted to smoke it or bake with it at times but I don't know anyone who can get hold of some anymore anyway (both neighbours,a young couple across the road and the house on the corner is the factory where they grow it 🀨)

All is quiet at the moment but if we start getting problems? I'll call the police with out giving it a second thought

My son has sussed out why our cat is so dozy and spends the day sleeping a lot as well as the night. Since she's been sleeping on my bed she's had the new catnip mouse with her at all times. Rather too close. This is as well as the small catnip sack downstairs that he bought her.

Fortunately catnip doesn't require the same amount of electricity to produce an effect. I haven't tried baking with it... Puss has been funny about her food too!
