Can anyone help?

Can anyone help. I've had fibromyalgia for a number of years and one of the things that distressess me most is the feeling of pressure in one side of my head, like a heaviness. Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes Sco2016, sometimes!! I have some pills for this BUT you need to ask that it IS fibro relates first,, I feel a tightening at the back of my neck where the muscles divide into a "v" shape up into your skull that creates tremendous pain, once said to be migraine but more recently it has subsided, I wake up with this pain and I believe its bad sleeping positions and bad pillow support, I now have a "down" pillow not too much stuffing in it..I was always told to present at A&E if one pill does not get rid of the pain in at least 30 minutes.

Thanks caz but mines not pain its just like there is heaviness on one side, like a fullness as if it's blocked. Does anyone understand this. I also get numbness in my face

I do understand what you mean but if you have head pressure find out if its any meds you take (I tried gabapent & pregab with bad head stress) and if its not its important to get it sorted. I avoided telling you I had a sub arachnoid haem. 2 years ago from this very problem!!

My daughter and son-in-law are going thru IVF and my son-in-law get awful pain down one side of his face coming from the side of his head, it affects his eye sight in one eye whilst it passes, his endocrinology report says he needs to be checked out for fibromyalgia!!
