Fibro spouse

Hi everyone I'm a newbie!! I joined this group to get a little more understanding of what others are going through. My husband has fibromyalgia, arthritis, diabetes and suffers with depression it's awful to see your loved ones going through so much pain and discomfort when you feel there isn't much you can do 😢

Welcome Miss13...I think you have come to the right place for some support and info on Fibro and being the carer. I know since I joined as a Fibro sufferer my husband has gleaned a greater insight into what we go through each day so ask away....any questions we shall try to help with. I am sure your just being there with him is the best help ever....x

Trikki has given you a good reply. I will say though that it can be extremely difficult to be of help when you can't see the problem. Sometimes we find it difficult to answer when the issue is just a feeling though we try very hard......or was that.......we're very trying :-P

I've just recently joined and had loads of questions answered. Everyone very nice.glad to have found this group as not on my own anymore as have felt isolated for 10 years.nice to meet you.x

I salute you for supporting your husband this way, we read so much about spouses who moan and complain about the !attention! they lose, good on you help as much as you can. If your other half would go to a swimming pool with you that has a Jacuzzi he would find the warm water will soothe so much pain. I personally have hydrotherapy which is prescribed by rheumatologist in 6 week sessions.
