Hi all hope you are all doing well 😊 I am currently struggling going from excessive tiredness to total insomnia and it's sending my pain levels into total overdrive.... I have numbness in my upper body, pinching sensations in my neck muscles and sharp stabbing pains in my groin hips and legs like someone is hammering long nails into me not sure what to do as my medication doesn't seem to help at all and frustration is probably making it worse..... 😣 any advise welcome 🐧

Hello George16

Have you spoken to your GP about the numbness that you are experiencing?

Pins and needles can be a problem with Fibromyalgia but I would strongly recommend that you see your GP about the symptoms you are getting especially the numbness.

It is very important not just to put symptoms down to Fibromyalgia all the time.

I really do think you should get these issues checked out.

Wishing you less pain and more peace

I think that advise from Blue is spot on....do get checked out and let us know how you are..I also have tingling burning in hands and feet but not in upper body...take care and I hope you get sorted very soon and begin to feel more comfortable!! x

George16 if you are able our friend; get someone to take you to a local swimming pool that has a Jacuzzi and have a soak in the warm bubbles, I find aquatics eases most pain incl migraine as I tip my head back into the water and leave my face floating-it eases the tightness in my neck too. Immerse you body fully up to your chin and see if you get relief this way.. I go twice a week and also have hydrotherapy every 2 weeks with an NHS physio with me.

Sorry to say this and sound harsh or cruel. But welcome to the world of fibro .i got periods of the year where I can't sleep for nothing . And the pain is really bad then at times o am fine for months as I am back to sleeping too much again. .... so I hate to say you might just be getting the same as I presume a lot of fibro sufferers x

Big hugs xx

Hi George16

I am so genuinely sorry to read of how you are suffering and struggling, and I sincerely hope that you can find some relief to these issues. I agree with your other respondents and it may be best to talk to your doctor about the numbness that you are experiencing just to get other medical conditions ruled out of the equation?

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
