I find sewing, knitting, crochet etc very meditative, like you say it takes your mind off the pain for a while.

Fantastic! I love it. I saw this and thought about doing it myself, unfortunately had a lot of pain in fingers and wrists, so haven't.

thank you, like you i have pain in my fingers so takes longer to do projects now, but am so stubborn and enjoy doing it that i have found a way round it by doing a little doing something else then going back to it.

How amazingly lovely....I used to dabble with watercolours and sketching which took my mind off stuff, but see to have lost it...I keep trying every now and then but the resulting paintings are abysmal!! I now read and do word puzzles in all forms but Sudoku completely baffles me I think I must be number dyslexic if there is such a thing!!! Keep up the good work.......

hello nuttyjoon i wonder if you can help me. i love cross stitch, and i had to stop many years ago because i get lost, i tried doing all one colour then colouring in the chart still got lost, then i tried starting at the top or bottom and colouring in the chart and still get lost and mess up somewhere cant find where as i lose count. any bright ideas how i can do my pics maybe something i havent thought of. i hate this fog lol
