Hi all,

Our friend Shiny 1 has been suffering with tonsillitis for the last few days, could you ever join me in wishing her a speedy recovery from it, so that she can feel well enough to come and join in again :-) :-) :-)

I drove buses in Redcar but can't remember that. There's one in Lymington that does my real favourite: clotted cream and chocolate mmm :)

Awwwwwww thank you Foggy!! I've only just tuned in and seen this, how very lovely of you all. I'm a right croaky mess, very frog-like but much better than I was thank you. I have found milk chocolate very soothing as it melts down my scratchy throat, I have eaten loads to speed up my recovery, I'm quite sure the doctor would approve :D xxxx

I'm so pleased they cheer you up a bit, that's what it's all about :-)

Thinking of you and hurry back. I'm new and not any personal connections yet but I'm sure that will come. Eat lots of ice cream to numb your throat

Hi gundy, just wants to say welcome to our forum. As you can see we are a friendly bunch and we like to cheer ourselves up by being silly sometimes, laughter releases "feel good" endorphins, so do please join in if you would like to :-)

You might also like to visit our mother site fibroaction.org where you will find a wealth of information to do with Fibro.

I much look forward to seeing you around and send positive healing vibes your way :-)

Welcome indeed. I think you're fitting in perfectly well without prompting. I think the rule on this site is pretty well the nuttier the better. I won't give the lecture about serotonin and endorphins and oxytocin just yet . . . . :P :P Oh, there's some clever folk too. :)

Gentle hugs on account :)

in reply tofenbadger

Who's clever??? Wot? Where?! :o

Hi gundy, thank you and welcome to the mad house. Liking food is a prerequisite as there are often virtual food fights, or debates about cream teas but other than that, anything goes! Check out Foggy's 'Pic of the Day', that usually sets me up nicely for the day with a smile on my face xxx

As our Foggy says, welcome, just make yourself at home. hugs sue
