Yep I am awake woke up at 2 , 4. and 5.30 am. - got up later than unusual !!!! Damn pain in legs - hope you have a good day -Neese.

Yep, leg pain..shins & calves! I forget what time I took my pain med. My legs drive me crazy though. I should plug in the heated throw , it sometimes helps!

Will take my pregabalin - its the only things that get my legs working -tried stopping it because of weight gain - but the pain was too much xxx

Is that similar to gabapentin? Maybe mine is the generic name? Idk

Hi MaineFirefly,

Have you tried acupuncture ? I had massive pain all round my left thigh and down the front of the shin bone. Spent most days on the bed cuddling left knee to ease the pain.

Have now had 2 sessions, a third next week hopefully, have to pay for mine. First session narrowed thigh pain to just front of thigh, same with shin bone. Second session has reduced shin pain to almost nothing, and thigh to more manageable level. Is also good for restless legs.

Although pain just in left leg, had needles in right to balance back pain. Some hospital Physios can do acupuncture, but their training is a lot less then qualified practitioners.
