hi all, had operation Thursday, up and about over weekend and was going home today and then yesterday developed an all over rash and today I feel unwell, doctor thinks it's a reaction to an antibiotic that they gave me yesterday when they stopped giving it intravenously. I was so looking forward to going home today but I don't feel well enough and they want to keep eye on me. Fingers crossed for tomorrow go home. Hugs to all, will update again in a few days x

Oh I am sad for you....was it Penicillin that caused the rash? I had Sepsis last year and came out in an all over body rash (and I mean "all over"!!!) but I was on massive doses. So, yes I had a longer stay in hospital and was quite upset. What I did find to give some relief was wrapping myself in cold wet towels!!! Didn't do Fibro any good but helped the itching!!!

Metty, Glad the surgery is done! ! I know your ready to go home but stay and let the Drs keep an eye on you just to be on the safe side.Whats a day or two to make sure all is ok, right??
