Went to doc today going to get blood tests next week for rheumatoid arthritis. What I would like to know is it possible/normal to have,both rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia?

I have had fibro for nearly 20 years, and just over 1 year ago, was diagnosed with inflammatory rhematoid arthritis. I think i have had the arthritis a lot longer, just never went to GP about it. Fibro is bad enough, without anything else.
Not normal S such but many people on the site have both. My friends daughter who thought he must had RA has been diagnosed recently with fibro as some of her symptoms weren't firsti g RA. Hope the tests come out negative.x
Oh yes! I have had both for a few years now. I was diagnosed with arthritis well before my Fibro. Good luck with your blood tests.
