PIP Assessment Report

Had my assessment for PIP almost 2 weeks ago now, anyone know where and how I can request a copy please? Still waiting for results......ty

Hi Paddysmum, I had mine 4 weeks ago and was told I would hear within 6/8 week's. Since I have had 2 texts to say they have everything they need to come to a decision and the same thing in writing arrived last Saturday. From what most people say they do seem to take up the whole time scale of 6/8 week's. I think this waiting is nearly as stressful as the assessment ! Good luck Linda x

It should come back to you with a report when they make you an offer or not! I hope its a positive result for you. I just wish the system was the same everywhere but unfortunately some areas have more applicants than others and so it can take longer for some- if you have not heard at 6 weeks stage then chase them for answers. I got the help of a local welfare rights officer at CAB office, she was a rock in helping me.

Hi Lesley, have you got your decision yet? I had a txt acknowledgement today saying they have all the information now to reach a decision and will be in touch with a letter once they have made the decision, just wondered how you had got on and if you had heard anything yet.....x

Hello, phone DWP and request a copy of your acessment report it will arrive about 7 to 10 later and on receiving you will be able to see what your award may should be but you still have to wait for the official award letter notification, having the reportif you are not happy with the report you have time to prepare a MR if the official award is not what you deserve or expected.
