I discovered an article the other day titled expanded list of symptoms of fibromyalgia on Facebook, It mentions that fibromyalgia sufferers have three times the amount of Substance P in their bodies. Substance P is the vehicle that carries pain stimuli to the brain
. The article is very interesting reading so I thought I would share the article on this forum. Maybe most of fibromyalgia sufferers can relate to article, it was written some years ago but still interesting to read. Has anybody heard of Substance P? I Googled it and I saw something saying a Substance P inhibitor was being used to help fibromyalgia pain. If anyone has had this treatment I would love to hear more so I can ask my GP wether it is something that can be prescribed for my pain
.
