I am so genuinely sorry to read this, and your MRI could have come back abnormal for a myriad of different reasons? If it is making you feel too stressed I would ring them and explain how you are feeling and try and ascertain a quicker appointment?
I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
I think it's reassuring that it didn't need any immediate treatment. That rules some of the more worrying things out. As with all parts of our bodies, little things can go wrong and at times that's temporary. Have you been given a follow-up by your gp?
As Friars said that they didn't want to see you or a month seems to bode well as usually if there is anything really wrong with the brain they will take action straight away. There are so many things it could be that it would be hard to guess what the cause of your problems are.
Ican fully understand that because you are already suffering with anxiety and stress this wait is making things worse. Good luck with the results.x
If you have a month before your next appointment it can't be anything serious, which I'm sure you know. There have been a few medical articles recently about MRI abnormalities and Fibro. So don't be surprised if that's all it is.
If you're really worried your GP will have had a report from your neurologist so go and see him. Or phone your GP. The waiting to get an explanation is never easy lol 🐸
