What a shame was it the adhesive like me?  Every time I put on a new patch it got worse and worse and you could see a really angry red square patch all around. The OH then said I had developed angry looking hives and it was so sore and itchy I had to just stop having them such a pity as it is a really convenient way of having meds.

I might be off my rocker as I am feeling really tired but I am sure I have read some past posts on the forum where people said that they could not tolerate the morphine ones but they were fine on the fentanyl.  Of course no good for me I think as my skin can react badly to plasters so it is the adhesive solution rather than the medication but might be of some help to you.

What a shame sometimes just changing the method if getting a drug can make a difference. Do hope you get it sorted. You might have a bit if a withdrawal as the patch is supposed to give you a constant dose of the meds whereas tablets unless slow release tend to give you highs and lows of it x
