Hello and welcome!
There is lots of useful information about fibromyalgia on the "mother" site for this group... fmauk.org
If there are more specific questions that you have, then there are lots of lovely people on here who can help answer them.
Also if you wish to make your questions specific to fibromyalgia, then don't forget to "lock" your post. Xxx
Hi Loutob
I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. You are not alone in being diagnosed and then just discharged back to your GP with just a leaflet.
I can see that you have already been given the details of our mother site. It is well worth a visit.
You have found a wonderful place to seek advice, give any tips you may have yourself, have a laugh and make some fantastic friends.
For internet safety reasons it is always a good idea to lock your post. Unlocked posts are open to anyone who goes onto the internet to find and read your post and any replies you have received.
A couple of hundred of characters are still open to the internet, so it's best to start your post with words that you wouldn't mind being seen. I am going to be putting up a post soon explaining why personal details should never been given on the forum and more information about locking posts.
I will write underneath instructions on how to lock your post and how to lock posts that have already been put up. If you would like me to lock your post for you, I am happy to do so. Just let me know.
If there is anything I can help you with, please don't hesitate to let me know.
I look forward to seeing you around the forum.
Wishing you calmness and peace

As promised instructions on how to lock your posts:
To lock a post when you've finished writing it scroll down to the bottom of the blue box and you'll see on the left hand side two options:
o Everyone
o Community
If you click on the Community option, this will then lock your post.
If you want to lock a post that you have already put up onto the forum, find your post and again scroll to the bottom of the blue box. You'll see a small downward arrow (v). Click on that and you will get an Edit option. Click on edit and then select the Community button as above.

Thank you
Hi Loutob,
When I saw the little person in your avatar I just had to post to you showing you the resemblance between them. I think yours npmay be younger than mine, My little Poppie is rising ten and has lost the bright chestnut she had when I first rescued her nearly five years ago now. She had been a brood bitch on a puppy farm and was a wreck when I took her on, but she has come on in leaps and bounds and is now a very happy and very amusing little doglet.
I'd love to know more about your little JR 😊😊

Aw poppie is lovely. Mine is called timmy he is my fourth jack Russell. He was a stray and very unsociable, he is coming up seven. Don't know where I'd be without him.
Oh how sweet Timmy is 😀😀 JR's rule don't they ?👍🏻😊
I don't where I would be without mine either, as well as Poppie I have a half JR/half yorkie and it's a very good mix......Mr Benjamin is nearly 17 and doing quite well apart from his hearing.
Gertrude Russell (my last beloved) actually saved my life, had it not been for her, I certainly wouldn't be here now 💖💖💖
