Hi Ann-Marie!
Thankyou so much for your warm welcome. I am just about coping with day to day life since being diagnosed. Unfortunately I am unable to work anymore due to a combination of health problems but I'm trying to stay positive.

Staying positive is one of the best things you can do
I feel lucky to still be working even though it involves 4am alarm clock
So if you manage any sleep if your symptoms give you a break have a little giggle on me if you sleep past 4am and think that this silly person is getting up
You keep your head up you're strong to fight this. Remember that most people would give up at the first hurdle with what you go though and think of how tough you are to keep going .
It must have been hard to swallow but try to tap into this community as you'll find so many caring individuals dedicated to helping you through
Best of luck and I'll be praying for better days for you x
I'm working but only 2 days a week 4 hours each day which is a total of 8 hours a week. Doesn't sound like much but for me it takes everything I have inside me to mustard the strength to complete my job.. I am a perfectionist so I end up working longer than the average person would because things take me a little. But from what I have read I believe I'm going to enjoy checking in everyday. Have a blessed day!!!
Haha I'm lucky if I get to sleep BEFORE 4am! I don't envy you having to wake up at that time though. I hope that by reaching out to others who are going through the same things I am, that we can make a difference in each others lives. I know it can sometimes be extremely frustrating having Fibro, especially when you're surrounded by people who don't understand or my personal favourite, the ones who say "well you don't look ill" 😂 x
Oh lordy...lordy...How often have we heard that! Or people who say "Are you feeling better?". I know it's not their fault and they think they are being kind....But how do you answer that? Lealea 1981 Welcome and I am sure you will find a lot of very good info and support here,,,and a little silliness! I think being soppy goes with fibro! Hope to hear more from you soon....xx
Would just like to say welcome to this friendly forum and look forward to your future posts.x
Thankyou ladies, I will definitely be sticking around! I really appreciate the warm welcome x
Hi Lealea1981
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I have pasted you a link below to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:
