I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are suffering and struggling with this issue and I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution to the problem. I have pasted an excerpt from the *ShareCare website whereby it says that the muscles involved are the same and this can cause the headaches.
*Shoulder problems can cause neck pain and headaches because the shoulder and neck share the same muscles.
It may be beneficial to discuss with this your GP or Medical Specialist, it may be Fibro related or it may be something other than Fibro that is causing the issue? I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
Thank u very much. I went to my gp this morning. Had to get a injection to subside the pain. Gp advised its related to fibro and stress adds alot. He also gav me a relax tablet as the neck muscles r very tense. Keep well and take care
I'll be interested in any replies to this. I have a similar problem with headaches and head and neck pain. I put my down to lying face down on a treatment bed whilst having acupuncture. No movement advisable. Its been there for nearly three weeks.
I didn't think about my shoulders as they don't really hurt.
I do hold a lot of tension there.
When I was a runnernidnoften get shoulder and neck pain from holding that area too rigid. Sounds like the case with you .
