Disgusted -update

Council have been to see me, they are going to talk to my upstairs neighbour about him dumping his rubbish, latest was Saturday night when he dumped a chair and cushions. Environmental health have been informed and are going to get it uplifted.

Mean while someone has put in a complaint about me paving the garden and my shed, I have a letter advising I have permission but this is not enough I now have to apply for retrospective planning permission.

The matter appears to be at an end now but I'm not going to believe it until I see it in the next few months.

Paving the garden for your safety should not be an issue, someone is clearly nit picking here, sit back and let it run its course, very lucky with neighbours here. We do get problems with fly tipping though. xx

you have my sympathy as we try to keep our own places as neat and tidy as we can and it can be undone in moments with such inconsiderate neighbours. We have moved to a nice neighbourhood and were told that we had an elderly lady living next door. Unfortunately, before we moved in she had a bad fall and now will not return from her nursing home so soon it will be put up for sale. We are now quite worried about what sort of neighbour we will get as part of the reason apart from the house and garden being far to big for us to handle was that our neighbourhood had gone down and was litter strewn and untidy.

Do hope it is all sorted out for you as well as the planning permission. Thanks for reminding me as I must apply for retrospective planning permission for our bathroom as we had to take out a bath and put in a shower and they need to come and check that we have put in an extractor fan and that everything is installed correctly. Have to laugh about the fan as opening the two windows does much more good.x

Sorry to hear you are having such an awful time at the mo. I know what it is like to live with nightmare neighbours and I am sure this was the start of my health problems. Thankfully we managed to move to a calmer place sadly I took the fibro with me. Hope things calm down for you soon. Gentle hugs Joolz.x

I sincerely hope that the council can sort out your neighbours for you. It is awful when you cannot relax in your own home and feel safe and secure. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

I loath those lazy filthy people who spoil our towns and countryside with their rubbish. Who do they think clears away their mess and who pays for it ?
