Yesterday I received a copy of the assessors report from my recent pip review. Had to laugh, apparently I've been in a road traffic accident! Funny you think I'd remember that. I think my assessor has taken a creative writing course and has put it to good use in my report. I'll be asking for a mandatory reconsideration. X
May be that was a part of their mandatory training, they are so good at it. I'm sure a few would be in line for the Booker Prize. x
Perhaps she has dual careers assessor/novelist. I swear they are so pushed for time by their "targets" that they get reports mixed up. At least it is good grounds for a mandatory consideration. They based my first DLA decision on my form and a GPs report they had never received. I had a bit of fun with that one. Good luck let us know how you get on.x

I've got my assessment this afternoon despite a completed form and 30 pages of Consultants/doctors reports saying I can't work due to Fibro, Rheumatoid arthritis and Osteoarthritis.
I'm terrified of saying the wrong thing or getting confused.
I get so anxious these days.
I guess I'm breathing, therefore I can work.

My husband has got a home visit due on Wednesday. He has received a further three notifications since his first letter stating that ‘this is now your amended appointment.’ Every one had the same time and date. I’m not happy that I’m paying my taxes for this useless service!

Do you know, it would be interesting to read a book full of the different stories written by so many different assessors, reasons for refusal & the complete and utter lies that most of us on here have come across when after finding out we've been refused PIP or ESA . They are unbelievable, all the different explanations we're getting or hearing about from other people all over the UK? They are all done by either Atos, Capita and another two company names that I can't think of their names atm? BUT, they are all the same company, depending on where you live?!! I wonder if they get together once in a while, to discuss & exchange the various excuses they can come up with to their 'claimants?' It would make an interesting and funny read! 😏
Yes I'd read that, I've always loved fiction. It seems most of us have a little extra thrown into our assessment reports X
