How long before you know pip outcome

Does anyone know how long after an assessment does it take to get a decision on PIP outcome?

Biting nails waiting as if not stressed already

Hi there, I only waited 2 weeks on my result, which was a positive one, and back pay was actually in the bank before I got the letter in, hope your outcome is as positive as mine was , it adds so much extra stress to our already stressful times waiting on it , let us know how you get on, love and hugs to you xx

How did you know about outcome? Did they call you you or you call them?

Hi there, I didn't call them as I went for the assessment on the Wednesday and it was exactly 2 weeks later on the Wednesday that I got my letter in from them and the back pay had actually been paid in the Tuesday before that, I don't have online banking and can't go out on my own so hubby went to the bank and checked and there it was . I think a lot depends on where you live mind you, I am in Scotland. I wish you luck and hope you don't wait too long , it is so stressful xxx

Can take up too 3 months wait or 3 weeks all depends of information they have on all your medical evidence i guess it can be stressful with the waiting...plus its near xmas so are they going to rush themselves??? Hope they do for you and a very positive outcome GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY CHRUSTMAS

I waited two weeks Hun. Yes ,very stressful. I wasn't, over the moon with the outcome,but I got the standard rate on both counts,so decided not to appeal. Hope it all works well for you. Xx
