What type of morphine are you on, how much and how often?

I am on 30mg of MST (slow release twice a day. I also take tramadol two tablets three times a day and duluxotine. Also I have ora morph for breakthrough pain which can be a life saver on those really bad days.

Best wishes and gentle hugs

Patrick

Besides other painkillers I also take morphine tablets 50 ml twice a day, my specialist z I take more pain relief combined than some one who has cancer. Some nites I feel like bashing my head against the wall as pain is that bad, so I thought rite this pain reliefs not working so stopped taking it, omg thought i was going to die, was back on it two days later. So pain killers do work, it's not till u don't take them u relies it, we can't win.

Rather than soak in bath which is ok I started going swimming every day, but it got on my nerves coz u pay full price and the schools use half the pool so there's not much room, or u go after schools finished and the kids r in jumping in front of u screeming there heads of, so I give that up back to soaking in bath. Unless u have the money to go to a private gym, that has there own pool, plus private gyms there pools are heated were as I find council pools are bloody freezing ok in summer

So don't know what to say to u, I've been hoping SATIVEX will come in are area, that's liquid canabis, which government has put on prescription but only in Wales at moment. Or last hope is move to Holland u can be a high as u want there that would cure the pain lol

Sorry to hear you're having a lot of pain. I feel for you I have several days like that too. I have been making me magnesium n MSM cream. That helps and holding the bible on my chest and asking God to give me some relief and let me sleep for a while. If ur body doesn't get enough sleep it doesn't help us any. Sleep for me is very little. I am praying for u lots of hugs.

Morphine never worked on me. I take Hydocodone 10-325 (has Tylenol in it. I am also on Butrans pain patch 5 mg that I change once a week. Use lots of Salonpas pain patches on trigger points. Also use pain relief lotions and drink an Amish formula for restless legs . I use a Tens unit when it is really bad. I live in USA so we have access to many many products that help, just have to find what works for you! 😘
