Wouldn't it be good if our bodies Glowed like a fireflies bum !!in all the areas it hurt and maybe different colours say red for severe pain and orange for not so severe areas etc...

Then firstly people wouldn't say you look well "

And then you wouldn't have to answer a load of stupid dwp just take someone with you if needed and strip off and say nothing!!

What makes me laugh with the forms and the interview with them is they do not associate pain, pain increase , they just won' t talk about the word pain as if it is taboo, they just want to know what you can and can' t do which is utter nonsense!!

So at your next review keep mentioning the word pain and look at the interviewers face , it will turn to stone every time you mention the word pain!!! Or they will look a bit uncomfortable

Personally I would light up like a flipping Xmas tree, as well as fibromyalgia I have other severe pain from other illnesses I have!!

I think your idea is great and as I have an interview looming large on the horizon I will certainly use the word pain as much as I can and push them to acknowledge what I am saying about it.......if they think they can push Foggy about they've got another think coming !!! 👿👿

Has your itching eased at all? I do hope so, mine comes in spells and drives me to distraction then seems to go away and reappears ad nauseum.....gggrrrrrrr

LOL! Great idea - I would light up in various places on different days - it varies so much like most on here. Usually hands... but often elbows, wrists, knees, feet, hips, bum (that would be funny - I often get an awful deep ache in my buttocks - does anyone else - with your idea I'd have a glowing bum!!).

Think they might go on the basis that everybody gets pain sometimes in some part of the body and sometimes quite bad, but be like other people, take two paracetamol and you will be ok in a little while! Try using debilitating as your buzz word lol

Perhaps we could just make some different coloured velcro patches with ouch arrgh too much ****yes pain is a four letter word and the like written on them. Prefer the glowing but when needs must.

How I've missed your comments. I would be like Joseph and his technicoloured dream coat but your Xmas tree expression is just as good it must be one of the fibre optic ones. We would all look like one of those heat map things but glowing in different places and like the fibre optic tree changing every couple of minutes.x

Okay, I love this idea but when you are with the dutiful guys from the DWP instead of lighting up like a fireflies bum, simply light up a cigarette! You are guaranteed to get a response? Probably not the one that you are looking for but one of a mental health condition as smokers are viewed in this light these days?
