Hi there

Have you started a new medication recently? It is possibly a side effect to a new tablet or something else that is new to your diet or routine.

Just a thought.

That does sound like a allergic reaction to something. New laundry soap or bath wash. Yes I agree with pixie it could be medication. I can't use anything with alcohol or I get that way. We will not talk about lavender just the thought has made me itch!

Oddly neither i or my son can tolerate the more popular brands of washing powders, fabric softeners, shower jells. ect.

I have to buy the cheap own brands.

they work just as well as the expensive products anyway.

Hopefully, this is not your situation but my burning and sometimes itching skin( everywhere-including at times- nose, eyes, private parts) was due to my high glucose count. Now that I have been able to lower that, I rarely burn or itch. If it does go up( because I ate too much sugar or carbs), I start to feel it. Hopefully, changing detergents will help or possibly you added a new food to which you are allergic or a lotion that caused this. Good luck- hope you get it under control

Hi there,

I agree with everything that has been said, but I would also suggest that you speak to your GP about this. Sometimes itching and burning can be relating to nerve pain and it would be a good idea to get that ruled out.

Sending lots of positive soothing vibes your way 😀😀😀

I am so genuinely sorry to read that and I sincerely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for. as the others have suggested, have you started any new medications recently? As many of the Fibro drugs have itching as a side effect in some patients? if this continues or gets any worse I would talk to your GP about this just to get other medical conditions ruled out of the equation. I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck with this.

All my hopes and dreams for you
