Compressed ulna nerve

Hi all have posted before regarding tingling and numbness in my hands..... well on Friday I am going in for surgery to my left arm due to compressed nerves in my elbow and then right arm being done at a later date ....I have also stopped the amitriptyline it isnt doing anything for me after several months on it....the higher dose gave me a horrible burning sensation all over my back....i also reacted badly to pregabalin....GP said we will look at medication after my surgery doesnt want to give me something else that I might react to and make me feel worse and cope with recovery too....glad about that!!!.....will try to keep you posted about how I get on :)

  • Good luck for your surgery. Probably a wise decision by your doctor as if you are like me and find that alot of meds have horrendous side effects you won't want than on top of all the post operative problems. Yes do let us know how you for on when you feel up to posting we will be keeping fingers crossed for you.x
