I get a feeling like a squeeze just above my leg. I suppose it feels a bit like a 'contraction'. It doesn't really hurt but it affects me if I am walking and interrupts the flow of walking if that makes any sense. It comes intermittently but has been more or less every day for the last ten days.

I get this when i am tired, or i should say when i have been out of bed for a long time. I have the urge to keep stretching my legs, but that just gives a few minutes relief.
Thanks Betty. Mine doesn't happen when I get out of bed, so not sure what it is. It is very different than painful foot cramp which I can get rid of my doing stretches
Ah OK. Mine happens when I am walking but it's still happening periodically now. I am sitting down and it is just after 10 pm. I think it's been there on waking too, so not sure what's going on. When I took a tranquilliser on a couple of night it seemed to help a bit the next day.
when i have mentioned this symptom to my gp he says it is because of wear and tear in my lower spine. it is difficult to describe properly like you muscle temporarily tenses up effecting your walking. just one more thing to put up with. sorry i cannot be more helpful.
I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are experiencing this issue, and i sincerely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for.
I get this problem if I sit still for too long, like when I watch the TV or go on the computer, and it really is unpleasant. I have not been given any medication for this but i will ask my GP if the symptoms persist. I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
