Change in the weather

Hi everyone

How are you all? Sorry that I disappear for a while every so often. Life is very hectic when juggling a part time job and a 1 year old, as well as the Fibro! I have noticed my pain getting worse again since the weather turned cooler. I have been lucky the last few weeks. It's been nowhere near as bad as it normally is. It seems to be back with a vengeance for the last day or so. I think the weather may be responsible. My mood has dropped too. However my husband feels the same so it can't all be blamed on the fibro. Probably all work and no play lol.

Hi Tuscany

There is absolutely no need to apologise.

I am so genuinely sorry to read that and I sincerely hope that you feel better soon. I have noticed the same, as I am having very bad pain in my elbows and my knees.

I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Hi Ken...is your Tens machine helping? It's hard to be a gardener and not suffer somewhere I think with Fibro, osteoarthritis, etc. Hope you find some relief soon.

My TENS machine helps quite a lot but it I do not use it on my knees or legs due to nerve damage. I normally use it on my back and neck and then my small (other machine) machine is for migraines so I use this on my neck / head area.

I am still having quite bad pain in my elbows and knees, and now my Lyphedema is playing up so my ankles and feet are all swollen. So I am going to ring the doctors tomorrow.

Take care

Ken

Oh o....It never rains but it pours....hope GP can help you. Getting an app to see one promptly is getting incredibly difficult....If this continues A&Es are going to be at breaking point again this winter.

I think I need to look at Tens again....did try one 7 years ago and didn't find helpful but worth another try perhaps. Take care of you.

They are very cheap these days from the likes of amazon or ebay so it is always worth a try?

as everyone is different the weather may not effect your husband as much as you . and you may be pushing yourself a lot more than your spouse. looking after a one year old is a lot harder than many other full time jobs and can be extremely tiring even for people without health problems . i wish the weather was more settled since i seem to get many more headaches when it is so changeable. try to take a few more breaks. best wishes.

Welcome back never apologise about being absent nas things sometimes overtake us. Yes the weather badly affects me and I have felt really achy and down since the wetter weather and the nights have also started to draw in which can be depressing. I think k you are doing a marvellous job of working with some year old and also having fibro.x

Dito!!!! I can't believe how much I've changed in the past 2/3weeks...:'( :'( :'( My body had completely shut down yesterday and I couldn't move until I'd taken my second lit of meds!

My hands were the worst and looked bruised on top? Then my hips and lower spine had decided to take a break!!

If this is what I've got to look forward to, then I will have to check out winter breaks/rental apartments in the Canaries next year!!!...:-D :-D :-D :-D Vit D3 is a must this time of year and may be a multi vitamins??

Much love... Ninja...♥♥♥

Cold weather is my enemy as well as barometric pressure changes when storms start moving in . Have found limiting my physical activities and pacing myself helps prevent a total flare .
