Try vaseline. My daughter swore by it for nettle stings when she was small. Ive tried it and it does seem to help.

I did that once while out in the "wild." Luckily there was a cold stream and some plants growing that helped calm it down. (I don't remember what all those were, but one was watercress)

Maybe some diluted peppermint essential oil or some strong peppermint tea - cooled - would help relieve the pain. Peppermint, arnica, aloe can help. But it will go away eventually. Sorry for your pain.
